Garth always knew that drawing was what he wanted to do when he ‘grew up’. His parents were very encouraging, bringing home rolls and rolls of paper and pencils that would keep him occupied for hours. He also gobbled up cartoons and comics like no one’s business and loves to show that in his work today. Garth’s aim is to focus on storytelling, composition and giving his characters personality.

His first job out of University lasted six years, where he worked as an animator and illustrator for an educational publisher. From there Garth worked in the video games industry for a couple of years as an artist, creating 3D assets and concept art, and he is currently concentrating growing his freelance career.
