As a young boy, lost in a second hand book store, Marcelo Baez discovered a pile of dusty old comics that would forever change his destiny. Proficient only at daydreaming, he would find the best outlet for his imagination was drawing and creating comics.

After developing his skills over a number of years, Marcelo produced his first creator-owned comic, Diabla! Voted favorite Australian comic on ozcomics.com, this encouraged him to continue his creative path. Later he discovered the unique power of communicating with illustrations and set forth.

Now a fully functioning member of society, he has become a professional illustrator and designer, working for a variety of international clients which include: Scholastic, Marvel/Disney, ESPN Magazine, Dallas Observer, Tiger Airlines magazine, Stone Arch books, Microsoft, National Geographic, News Limited, and Philadelphia magazine.
