About
Born in England, then later lived in East Africa for 6 years. After finishing schooling in England, I attended Medway Art College where I studied Technical Illustration. After a couple of years as a Tech Illustrator at an aircraft firm, my family moved to South Africa. I started freelancing there, and produced a full range of work. 3 years later we moved to New Zealand, where I was a studio manager at an Ad agency, before going freelance again and have remained so. I specialised in Airbrush and realism, but have worked in all traditional media, from oils, water colour, scraper board etc. I now illustrate digitally, and produce a full range of styles and subjects. I have been in Melbourne for 8 years, where I work from my home studio. I produce work for my clients in Australia and NZ, and being in the cyber age you can base yourself anywhere. We became Geelong fans, and in 2007 I was privileged to be asked to produce the front cover illustration for the AFL Record Grand Final between Geelong and Port Adelaide.
